Frock Stock Love

This is a March of the Bloggers guest post!

"Frock Stock Love"

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone loved the jewelry giveaway last night. Now this next blogger and I have a very special relationship. When I started Frock Stock I knew I wanted to carry plus sizes. However, there are so many cute regular sized vendors out there and almost NO cute plus sized (something I find very tragic)! It took me awhile to find what I have found and I still am scouring vendors all the time to find more cute items for our plus sized fans. Since I don't wear plus sizes myself, I wanted to make sure I learned all about what is the most flattering for plus sizes so I was offering the best products for our Frock Stock fans. One of my favorite bloggers, Kelsey, took the time to help school me and search through products with me to help bring you what we have today and will have in the future! I am forever indebted to her!

Kelsey runs a style blog called Charming Pumpkin and it is absolutely adorable! She's here to feature two of Frock Stock's plus size items (items she helped pick herself!) to show off her personal style.

Hiya! My name is Kelsey. When I’m not trolling the interwebs looking for adorable
fashion-related bargains, wrangling my army of cats, or harassing my fiancée, you
can find me blogging about curvy fashion and style on Charming Pumpkin. I have a
soft spot for good food and good scotch, I perpetually have my nose stuck in a book,
and I laugh… a lot.

I thought I’d take this opportunity to style two of my favorite items from Frock
Stock’s plus size section. Armed with the power of Polyvore, I created… THESE!!!

Because the Love Dove top is billowy, it requires a more tailored top layer. I opted
for a brightly hued blazer in a coordinating color, but a more fitted cardigan would
work equally as well. Because the top itself is looser, it’s important to balance it
out with tighter bottoms. I’m a sucker for skinny jeans tucked into boots, so that’s
exactly what I selected.

I loooooove to accessorize, so I paired the top with the Baroque Splendor earrings
from Frock Stock (*grabby hands*), a gaggle of skinny bangles, and a long (and
heavy!) watch necklace. As someone with, ahem, heftier maidens, billowy tops can
be a challenge. Too often, they end up hanging straight down from The Maidens,
which only serves to make me look bigger. I’ve found that a long, heavy necklace
helps the fabric drape more flatteringly in chestal area. Really! It does!

I luuuuuuurve the Napa Valley dress. I never really got on board with the color-
blocking trend, but this dress is making me reconsider. For this outfit, I opted
for a subtly patterned cardigan in a nude color, and matching tights. I wanted the
focus to be on the amazing shape the colored portion of the dress creates – it’s got
a faux-bustier effect going on that I really like. I swapped out the fabric belt for a
woven leather belt, and opted for a pair of heeled loafers. I’m obsessed with the Velo
Necklace from Frock Stock – it’s so cute – so I was hellbent on using it. The kitty
earrings are a seriously cute bargain from Amazon, of all places.

To Loren and Frock Stock: thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to write
a guest post. I’m so honored! To you, the reader: I hope you enjoyed these outfits! I
had so much fun putting them together. I can’t wait to see what Frock Stock has in
store for all of us curvy ladies. Don’t hesitate to swing by Charming Pumpkin, and
say hello! I always love hearing from new people. =D
