This is a March of the Bloggers guest post!
by Sarah of Tulle and Trinkets
Welcome to our second guest blog post of the month! Today I have the pleasure of introducing Sarah, whose vintage-styled blog is always nothing less than adorable. On her blog, Sarah features her collection of antique trinkets, creates fabulous DIYs, and shows off her beautifully feminine style.
Well, hello there! Sarah here from Tulle and Trinkets. I'm a fashion-loving, antique-collecting writer from Indianapolis. I started Tulle and Trinkets this past October to document my daily style, my antique collecting, DIY projects, and life with my husband and our two cats.
I'll be the first to admit my blog is girly. Most of my wardrobe is soft colors, feminine silhouettes, and lots of vintage-inspired pieces (which is why I LOVE Frockstock ;) ). I also have a lot of BOWS. I love bows, and I've been collecting bow-detailed pieces for several years now. Here's a peek at a few of my bow-themed pieces:
I have everything from bow-patterned clothes, to bow hair accessories, to bow jewelry.
I won this flashy ban.do bow headband a couple years ago in a contest.
Most of my friends know about my 'bowsession,' so I often get bow gifts, like this sweet ring.
And some of my favorite bows are little unexpected ones, like this bow that tops a keyhole cutout on my cat-patterned dress -- this dress is my latest Frockstock purchase; find it HERE!
Do you have a "theme" that you collect and incorporate in your wardrobe? If not, it might be fun to start. It'll give you something to hunt for and collect, and people will always know what to get you as a gift. It might be something like polka dots, your favorite animal, or an item that you love.
Check out my blog for more bows and lots of whimsy! Thanks, Loren, for letting me post on your pretty place today!
I love Sarah's idea of a wardrobe theme. I'm not sure if I personally have a theme, but I know that pink has a huge (and very cliche) presence in my wardrobe. It's the color I always feel pretty in and that complements me in every shade. Again, please let us know YOUR wardrobe themes whether they exist now or if you dream of them existing. Don't forget to check out Sarah's blog and show her lots of love in the comment box! (Every comment you make gives you more a chance in the jewelry giveaway!)
